Sailors Knot Four Strand Braid

Doing the sailors knot or four strand braid

1) Divide hair into 4 sections, starting from the left. 1st strand over 2nd strand, 3rd strand over 4th. 4th strand over 1st. Re-assign the numbers so that the section on the leftmost (originally 2nd) becomes 1st. Repeat from step 2.
