French Fishtail Accent Ponytail Tutorial
1. Section a rectangular part from the temples back.
2. Secure the rest of the hair that you did not previously section off into a ponytail.
3. Using your preferred method (either a Topsy tail or wrapping the hair around and securing with a bobby pin) wrap the ponytail with a piece of hair from the ponytail.
4. Starting with a small section of hair from the parted off hair, begin a fishtail braid, taking small pieces and crossing them over to add to the other section.
5. After 2 stitches of the fishtail braid, start adding hair to each piece you cross over to create a french fishtail.
6. Continue this braid until there is no hair left in the rectangle you began with, then continue the braid as a regular fishtail without adding hair.
7. Secure the end of the fishtail braid with a small, clear elastic.
8. Lay the fishtail braid flat across the wrapped ponytail and secure with a bobby pin, or two if necessary.
