Only put conditioner on the ends of your hair (avoid the roots)
If you have shorter hair, add a small amount of conditioner to your hand and lightly rub your hand over the ends of your hair, avoiding the scalp as much as possible.
This prevents from product buildup on the scalp and greasy looking hair as most conditioners will leave a residue on the scalp. But at the same time it does it’s job by lightly conditioning your hair. Make sure not to leave the conditioner in your hair for too long.
