How to Dutch Braid

How to Dutch Braid

Brush your hair so there are no knots.

Take a section of hair above your left ear

Start braiding. put the pieces of hair UNDER each other, rather than over each other like you do for a French braid.

As you braid, add in extra sections of hair like you do for a French braid. Make sure you put the pieces UNDER each other

Keep braiding! Try to make your braid go in a diagonal line across the head.

When you reach the nape of the neck, combine the braid with the hair that has been left unbraided.

Once you have done combining do a regular braid. Put the pieces OVER each other! If you continue reverse braiding, it ends up really loose and messy.

Braid all the way to the ends and secure with a hair tie. Add bobby pins to make it look neat.
