Hair Mask for Preventing Frizz

Are you tired of split ends and slow hair growth? Store-bought hair products tend to contain harsh chemicals that dry out the scalp, causing your hair to become brittle and dry.

Method #1 – Coconut Oil Hair spray

For a simple and less messy method use a coconut lemon hair mist spray.

What You Need:
1/2 cup Coconut Milk
1/3 cup Water
2 tbsp. Lemon Juice
1 tsp. Sea Salt
1/2 tsp. Baking Soda
3 drops Lavender Essential Oil
3 drops Tea Tree Essential Oil

Small Spray Bottle

Combine ingredients together in a small spray bottle, tightly place on the cap and shake to mix.

While your hair is wet, generously spray onto hair and scalp, massaging with your fingertips.

After a few minutes, rinse your hair using cool water. This spray can be used 2-3 times per week.

Method #2 – Banana Hair Mask

Bananas are rich in proteins, potassium and also vitamins, A, E, and C. They pack in a lot of moisture, which is great for rejuvenating your hair and scalp.

Combined with a few other natural ingredients, this makes a powerful deep conditioning hair mask.

Items Needed for Banana Hair Mask:
1/2 Banana (Eat the other half, it’s good for you)
2 tbsp. Coconut Oil
1 tbsp. Honey
1 tbsp. Apple Cider Vinegar
1 tsp. Castor Oil
1/2 tsp. Cinnamon
Lavender, Vanilla, or Peppermint Essential Oils

In a bowl, mash the banana, mix in the coconut oil and combine the remaining ingredients. Mix until thick and creamy.

Your hair should be wet before you apply the mixture. Start at the scalp and work your way down to the ends massaging with your fingertips.

Spend a couple of minutes massaging the scalp and the ends of your hair to really absorb the vitamins and nutrients.

Use a wide tooth comb to comb out as much of the mixture as you can and discard in the trash.

Rinse your hair under cool water and pat dry with a towel.

You can shampoo and condition your hair one time after removing the mixture, but it is not required if you don’t want to.
